WHY WE GATHER
In a world so full of chaos, disconnection and demand.
We deeply believe that the true nature of the feminine is unlocked when we come back into communion with the Earth and one another.
What happens when women gather:

At this pivotal time on Earth, how do the hearts of women come together to weave a new way of being?
We are putting out the call to gather women of all ages, stages, ethnicity & diversity to join our hearts and hands to walk into a new future together, one that is yet to emerge and yet is longing to be birthed.
The Way of Women is a grass roots, living exploration, community co-creation ~ a collective remembering of how women gather. This is an invitation to reclaim our rites, our rituals, and our voices.
This vision was born out of the hearts of women 4 women living amongst the mountains of Glenorchy, longing to embrace the true nature of the Feminine to weave our individual threads into a living tapestry of Council, Wisdom, and Belonging.

Not just to support one another but to uphold the community as a whole.
We had practises, ritual, tradition that nurtured our gifts of intuition, connection and creation.

Earth Based Ritual
Each morning will begin in Ritual and communion with the land. Through intentionally brewed Native tea we will call on the wisdom of the land to guide and support us on this days journey.
Throughout history and across cultures women have been at the heart of earth-based ritual, their biological rhythms and life-giving roles mirroring the cycles of moon, tide, and season. As bearers of life, keepers of seed, and custodians of healing plants, women’s ceremonies have long honoured fertility, harvest, birth, death, and renewal; maintaining harmony between people and the natural world. This deep communion with land, water, and sky is not only cultural memory, it is a living inheritance, vital to women’s health, identity, and the resilience of their communities.
Somatic dance
Each day we will dive into a guided Eco -Somatic journey helping us deepen our embodied awareness of patterns, stories and experiences encoded into our bodies.
Each one is a practice of guided explorations that bridge ecology with sōma ~ the living, sensing body. In this attuned and inclusive space we invite presence, curiosity and embodied awareness, exploring your cells, body systems and developmental patterns through authentic movement. This is also a space of reclamation of your right to feel, to inhabit your body fully and to express yourself without restriction. As you reconnect with your own sensory truth these inner landscapes naturally weave back into relationship with the larger body of Earth and cosmos, restoring belonging, vitality and the freedom to move as you are.

At the heart of this gathering is beauty and creativity. This is not just woven through the spaces but into our hearts. Each afternoon we will immerse ourselves back into creative expression. Through vocal activation, weaving, crafts, music and prayerformance we remember our right to be heard, seen and received in this world.
As the original Creatrix of Humanity, creativity is not a luxury, it is a necessity for all women. Nurturing our creative expression reconnects us with our inner voice, intuition and the power to shape life. Through this unique constellation of voices and spirits, possibilities and realities that could never emerge alone are birthed, unlocking pathways to a new way of being. Together we weave our stories, gifts and energy into a shared tapestry, restoring cohesion, harmony and the remembrance that we are both individuals and part of a greater whole.
Dialogue
Each afternoon we will be guided by a collective of feminine wisdom keepers, visionaries and practitioners inviting us to delve into greater depth of conversation.
Intentional, authentic, heart-led dialogue is one of women’s fundamental powers. Through guided conversations with panels of experts we relearn the language of our female experience. We learn how to articulate our emotions, cycles and needs, and gain tools to navigate life with clarity, confidence, and sovereignty. In voicing our authentic truth we are asked to navigate not just resonance and sisterhood, but a potential landscape of diversity, opposition and resistance. By embarking on this journey with loving presence and acceptance we will discover the bridge. This bridge between polarities and diversities is the gateway to harmony, not just in our lives but in the collective as a whole.

We believe The Way of Women should be a space for women from all walks of life, across generations, cultures and financial circumstances.
With this at our core we have intentionally priced tickets as low as $380 for four days.
We have also created options to be able to gift full or partial sponsorship for other women in order to extend the invitation to those that perhaps can't afford it right now.
We have priced our onsite accommodation below break even price and worked with local accommodation providers to offer discounted rates, ensuring as many women as possible can attend.
As part of our commitment to women’s wellbeing in Aotearoa, we will gift 5% of our profits to Women’s Refuge NZ. It feels important that the ripples of this gathering extend beyond those who attend, reaching women in our wider community who are in need of safety, care, and refuge.
